Being a 17th Century British Pub set in the idyllic countryside has its perks, take a look at what we can offer you!

Brit stop

We are part of Brit Stop! So any lucky members are more than welcome to stop overnight at our pub in your campervan or motorhome. All we ask is that you pop in to say hello & have a meal with us! We’re a friendly bunch who love a chat, and with our delicious food on offer Wednesday to Sunday - who can resist! We also offer breakfasts Thursday - Sunday, so you can start your day off right with a Woodcock Full Monty.

Walking

What with our picturesque setting, we do see a few walking boots & furry companions who need some hydrating. We welcome you all - we even have a few walking routes around us - see here for more information. Please be mindful of muddy boots - as much as we know it can’t be helped, our cleaners will be much happier if you can use our boot covers or leave them by the door. For our 4 legged friends, we have dog bowls available - just ask our friendly staff to fill them up for your use.

QUIZ NIGHTS

Introducing the newest star of the Woodcock calendar — our Bi-Monthly Quiz Nights! Grab your team of up to 6, sharpen those brains, and join us for a night of fun, facts, and friendly chaos. It’s just £5pp to play! Food is served from 5pm, so come early to tuck in before the quiz kicks off at 7pm. Book your spot and get ready for big laughs, bold guesses, and top-tier quizzing madness!
